The Church of the Holy Spirit is the most important sacral building of more than mere local significance. The stone renaissance church, originally with a shingle roof and a wooden chancel, was built during the Croatian colonization around 1580.
There is a statue next to the church – the Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. The Statue of According to the written sources, the statue is the oldest in Devínska Nová Ves and dates back to 1731. Saint John of Nepomuk is worshipped as a martyr of the secret of confession and a patron of protection in case of natural disasters and floods.
